From Dr. Neha Sharma, Chair & Managing Director, Vedansh Ventures

It gives me great pride, both as a clinician and as Chair of Vedansh Ventures, to announce the launch of BioWellness Care — the first biomedical framework of care designed to integrate whole-person medicine into mainstream healthcare. This is more than a new program; it is the result of years of listening to patients, working across systems, and recognizing the gaps that still exist in the way we deliver care.

In my own practice and community work, I have often seen patients moving between two worlds: biomedicine for diagnosis and acute treatment, and holistic or lifestyle approaches for balance and long-term well-being. Too often, these worlds remain disconnected. Patients are left to navigate them alone, feeling that they must choose between clinical safety and personalised care, between symptom management and true resilience.

This fragmentation is what inspired BioWellness Care. We needed a way to bring these elements together, not as competing systems, but as complementary dimensions of a unified model.

The Framework We Are Building On

BioWellness Care is not “alternative.” It is a biomedicine-compatible framework built on the principles of safety, standardisation, and scientific validation. Every aspect of care is grounded in biomedical science, while also translating trusted knowledge of lifestyle, nutrition, and whole-person therapeutics into language and practice that is clinically reliable.

The framework is guided by biomedical principles:

  • Safety and standardisation in practice and pharmacy

  • Evidence from both clinical research and real-world practice

  • Patient-centred integration where care plans are personalised, supervised, and effective

By rooting our work in this framework, we ensure that whole-person approaches are accessible, inclusive, and aligned with NHS principles of safety, equity, and cost-effectiveness.

From Evidence to Practice

The future of medicine cannot rest only on clinical trials; it must also reflect what happens in real life. BioWellness Care bridges these two worlds by combining biomedical research methodologies with practice-based evidence drawn from patient outcomes.

In this way, we create a living, adaptable model that proves not only efficacy, but also relevance across diverse patient populations.

Personalised and Unified Care

At the heart of BioWellness Care is the patient journey. Our pathway is designed to move beyond isolated treatments into personalised, supervised care, where patients can access everything they need in one place. This includes pharmacy services, customised biofunctional supplements, and specialised care programs that address brain health, respiratory and allergy care, metabolic balance, women’s health, immunity, and beyond. Each pathway is guided by clinical oversight, ensuring that care is safe, coordinated, and effective.

Patients no longer need to piece together different systems on their own — BioWellness Care brings them together under one unified framework.

A Vision Beyond “Alternative”

For too long, trusted systems of care have been sidelined as “alternative,” leaving patients and professionals uncertain about their place in modern medicine. With BioWellness Care, we are moving past that narrative. We position whole-person care as a partner in mainstream medicine, where it can meaningfully contribute to prevention, chronic disease management, rehabilitation, and long-term wellness.

This vision is not about replacing, but about aligning — translating heritage into science, and making it part of everyday practice.

Engaging with BioWellness Care

BioWellness Care is designed as more than a service. It is a platform of engagement for patients, practitioners, researchers, and communities. Patients can join through personalised care pathways; professionals can contribute by building evidence and advancing education; communities can benefit from inclusive, culturally sensitive programs that address real needs.

Engagement is not an afterthought. It is the foundation of what we do — an open, collaborative movement towards healthcare that is truly complete.

Looking Ahead

Launching BioWellness Care is, for me, both a professional achievement and a personal commitment. It represents the possibility of healthcare that is whole, safe, and centred on the patient — where no knowledge system is left outside, and no patient is left to navigate care alone.

This is the promise of BioWellness Care: to bring together what belongs together — science, care, and humanity — and to make health not just the absence of disease, but the presence of balance, resilience, and life.

I warmly invite you to engage with us in this journey and help shape the future of healthcare.
